Flame Retardant Silicone Sponge Rubber
Saint-Gobain® Norseal® R10460 medium-grade silicone sponge rubber is a flame-retardant (UL 94 HBF) closed-cell sponge suitable for most gasketing applications. This material is flexible, compressible, and designed for use in extreme temperature ranges. It offers excellent weatherability, compression set resistance, electrical strength, and non-stick properties.
Norseal R10460 provides the following features:
- Meets UL flammability classification with a 94 HBF rating
- Recognized by UL 157 as a weather seal gasket
- Complies with AMS 3195 closed-cell specification
- Meets MIL-R-6130 Type II, Grade A, B, and C, and ASTM D6576 Type 2, Grade A, B, and C
- Conforms to DMS1980 Grade 2
- Meets FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 standards
