1 Mil Polyimide Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Tape
CHR K102, K103, K250 and 2345-1 are manufactured from polyimide film with high-temperature adhesive
Features/Benefits
CHR K102, K103, and K250 exhibit superior mechanical and electrical properties, along with excellent dielectric strength. Specifically, CHR K102 and K103 provide high-temperature resistance and demonstrate high conformability as well as resistance to solvents. All three products—CHR K102, K103, and K250—feature outstanding cut-through resistance and are both impact and abrasion-resistant. The acrylic adhesive used can be thermoset, and the polyimide backing conforms to MIL-P-46112B standards. CHR 2345-1 is certified under Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Guide File 66639 with a 180°C temperature rating and meets UL 510 specifications for flame retardance. Both CHR K250 and K103 comply with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Guide File 66639 and UL 510 for flame retardance, with temperature ratings of 180°C and 155°C, respectively.
Typical Applications:
CHR K102, K103, and K250 are engineered to meet the demanding requirements of high-performance thermoplastic polyimide backing materials. CHR K102 and K103 are specifically designed to address the need for non-silicone adhesive protection of gold finger connectors during wave soldering, performing effectively with both solvent and water-based fluxes. These materials are suitable for a range of electronic assembly and electrical insulation applications. Additionally, CHR 2345-1 is frequently used for holding, insulating, or wrapping, and is particularly favored for gold finger protection during wave soldering processes.
