CHO-SEAL 1287 is a silver-aluminum filled elastomer EMI shielding gasket in a fluorosilicone binder which offers good shielding and corrosion performance. CHO-SEAL 1287 combines the superior conductivity of silver-aluminum fillers with the flexibility and resilience of an elastomeric material to deliver effective EMI shielding across a broad frequency range. This gasket’s silver-aluminum filled elastomer provides excellent attenuation of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), ensuring optimal performance for sensitive electronic devices. The fluorosilicone binder enhances its resistance to chemicals, fuels, and extreme temperatures, making it well-suited for demanding applications in aerospace, automotive, and industrial sectors. PRODUCT FEATURES:
- Available with a thin, acrylic, proprietary electrically conductive, pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing
- Sheet stock without adhesive backing has an indefinite shelf life (with PSA shelf life is 1 year)
- For part numbers where two temperature values are shown, the first represents max. operating temp. for conformance to MIL-DTL-83528 and the second value represents the practical limit for exposure up to 1000 hrs. (compressed between flanges 7-10%). Materials with single values conform to both definitions
