Norgard Release Solutions serve as efficient processing aids in the decal process for producing catalytic layers in high-efficiency fuel cells and electrolyzers. Employed as processing belts and release sheets in thermal curing and lamination, these solutions offer a flat, smooth, and mechanically stable substrate surface for the controlled distribution of catalytic ink. With excellent thermal stability up to 500Ā°F / 260Ā°C and suitable hysteresis behavior, they are ideal for most decal processes, even under demanding conditions. After completing the Catalyst Coated Membrane (CCM) through decal transfer, the substrates can be easily removed, ensuring complete transfer of the catalytic layer. Lightweight and ultra-thin, our release liners support the finished CCM during wind-up, enabling customers to increase productivity by fitting more CCM onto each roll.
