Conformal Coating Mask
- M797: Specifically designed for masking areas on stuffed PC boards, this tape features a tight unwind due to the lack of release back coating on the polyester film. This ensures clean edges when breaking coating flashing, reducing the need for rework and saving process time.
Fume Protection
- M851: Protects circuitry from chemical splashes and fumes during gold tab plating operations. This cost-effective, low-adhesion tape offers excellent chemical and high-temperature resistance and serves as a companion to the M717 plate masking tape. Available in green.
Solder Masking Over Bare Copper (SMOBC) Tape
- M803: Used with a pre-applied protective solder mask, this tape provides full protection to exposed holes in the board. It is applied at the plating line, either manually or by automated equipment, and ensures a fail-safe demarcation line at the connector tabs.
Area Masking

Hot Air Leveling (HAL)
- C663: Applied to mask gold fingers, tab areas, and other sections of printed circuit boards during the hot air leveling process. The specially formulated adhesive holds and protects the gold fingers during rigorous HAL operations and removes cleanly without splitting or leaving residue. Its thin construction minimizes damming at the solder/tape butt line, proving effective in double wrap applications.
Anti-Static (HAL)
- K-290ESD: Offers excellent electrostatic discharge properties, with an ESD additive that reduces discharge upon tape removal. Its proprietary adhesive system ensures high electrostatic dissipation without compromising adhesive strength at extreme temperatures. Available with or without a liner.
