1 Mil Polyester, Rubber Adhesive Tape
CHR M-Series (1 Mil PET/Rubber adhesive) is manufactured from polyester film with rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
The M54, M56, M797, and M851 tapes provide cost-effective solutions for holding, insulating, and protecting various materials. The M54 and M56 tapes are frequently utilized in critical capacitor and coil applications. The M734 tape is specifically designed for use in multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing as an area mask tape.
FEATURES/BENEFITS:
The M54 and M56 tapes comply with MIL-I-15126 MFT Type 2.5 specifications. M54 provides easy application for electrical insulation and meets UL Guide OANZ2, File E51201 standards. The M734 tape does not exhibit adhesion build-up after processing. M797 withstands high temperatures in conformal coating operations, is silicone-free, and ensures precise masking lines. M851 is engineered as a flash mask protection tape for metal or composite bonding, with a polyester backing that resists damage from sharp edges. Polyester backings offer cost-effective, durable holding for materials. These tapes operate within a temperature range of -18 to +163°C (0 to +325°F), have an elongation at break of 100%, a tensile strength of 44 N/cm (25 lb/in), and a dielectric strength of 5,000 volts.
