CHO-SEAL 6503 is a nickel-aluminum fluorosilicone elastomer EMI shielding gasket in a fluorosilicone binder which offers both excellent shielding and corrosion performance. CHO-SEAL 6503 is a high-performance elastomer designed for shielding fuels in portable, exposed operating environments. With a durometer rating of 72 (Shore A) and a specific gravity of 2.05, this fluorosilicone-based material offers robust durability and resilience. Its nickel-aluminum filler ensures superior noise shielding, achieving levels of 120+ dB and 116 dB at 2 GHz, while also providing a thermal conductivity of 0.9 W/m-K. CHO-SEAL 6503 operates efficiently at temperatures up to 125°C and maintains a tensile strength of 150 psi (1.24 MPa). Though it has no adhesive, its shelf life extends to 12 months with PSA and indefinitely without it. Available in 0.093-inch thickness and 10×10-inch dimensions, CHO-SEAL 6503 is ideal for applications requiring electromagnetic pulse (EMP) protection, combining exceptional thermal and noise shielding properties with long-lasting performance.
