UL 94 V-0 Flammability Rated Microwave Absorbers
CHO-MUTE 9005 and 9025 are elastomer absorber materials designed for user-friendly electromagnetic radiation reduction in electronic equipment. minimizing cavity-to-cavity cross-coupling and microwaving cavity resonances. These materials, consisting of a silicone elastomer matrix with ferrous filler, often broadband RF absorption performance from 500 MHz to 18 GHz. Available in various thicknesses as sheet stock with or without adhesive, they are flexible and easily die-cut for empirical absorption testing Certified to UL 94 V-0 flammability standard, they can be used in close proximity to electronic circuitry to absorb signals and reduce reflections from metallic surfaces. Custom part manufacturing is possible with a range of fabrication techniques.
