Matrix Technology Ltd, a recognized leader in Electronic Components and Material Distribution, located in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a motivated and energetic individual for the position of:

Administration Assistant

The successful candidate should be a professional, dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, welcomes challenges and will share the company's commitment to the highest levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

Opening and sorting incoming and outgoing mail

Provide clerical and administrative duties for the office

Scanning and filing backup paperwork to help maintain integrity of the office systems

Answering phones in a professional manner and directing callers to the appropriate individual

Assist with administrative duties related to financial operations within the business system

Assist Financial Administrator as needed

Skills & Qualifications :

Minimum of a High school qualification

Good computer skills - MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe and Syspro (will train)

Excellent attention to detail

Very organized and efficient

Ability to set-up and maintain electronic and paper files

Good interpersonal, oral communication and relationship management skills

Ability to solve problems, using critical thinking and diplomacy skills

Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects

Must be flexible and adaptable

Experience with administrative and clerical procedures

Accounting background would be an asset

Have thirst for learning and personal growth

Positive, optimistic, and can-do attitude no task is outside your scope, and you love to help others get the job done.

Ability to work independently and as a member of the team

We are looking for a versatile person to help us with a variety of office duties in order to make our company run more efficiently. This is a new position reporting to the Financial Administrator and as such the right person will have an opportunity for growth and advancement.
